What hinges should I choose for a furniture flap? (K-Eco , K-Premium Series)

The furniture design, whether a chest of drawers or a trunk, for the K-Eco and K-Premium lif series includes the use of a self-closing flap.

This means that when the device is retracted, the flap will automatically rest on the edge of the furniture

For trunks, we recommend using 90° hinges for flaps, such as:

The Hettich Markant 11 is a hinge for overlay flaps, allowing precise flap alignment adjustment. It is made from nickel-plated zinc and is intended for use with flap actuators

Hafele 342.66.730

The Hafele 342.66.730 is a flap hinge designed for wooden furnitures, offering three-way adjustable settings (height, side, and depth). It is made from zinc alloy and features a bright nickel finish

However, any type of hinge can be used, provided that the above principle is followed.

During lifting, the specially profiled bracket gently raises the flap, which should always remain at least slightly tilted towards the closed position.

This design ensures that the flap will always close when the TV is retracted.
